Thank you for your detailed reply appreciate the same, I have a few queries.
1) In the customization node which you suggested
Customer Relationship Management->Transactions->Settings for Activities->Define Default Values for Visit Plans and Activity Scheduling.
I have maintained the activity type Z007- Customer Appointment( Screen Shot attached below)
After creating the visit plan the activity type Z007 does not get triggered automatically.
Hence as per your post above to generate the activity I need to write the coding logic in the function module.
My Query to you is
1) Even for generating one activity which is Z007 in my case the function module needs to be used? or can this be done through configuration
2) By using the function module which you have suggested above can visit plans trigger multiple activities as well?
