You can very well reuse it by following the below steps

1. Create interface for the search & result view in your search component using runtime repository editor

2. Create component usage for this search & result view(interfaced) in your component where you wanted to embed/use this search component

3. Create binding in method WD_USAGE_INITIALIZE

This way you can reuse your search. Let me know if you need any more info
