We have been using the TREX duplicate Address Check with SA17 value at 70% for BUT000.
In starting to explore the Fuzzy search for accounts, it was very difficult to get any hits. We come to learn both features share the value in SA17 on BUT000.
Our users are more like sales reps, where the account search desired would be name and possibly region / country. For Fuzzy Search to start returning results the setting needs to be in the 5 - 15% range, but at that range any new Account created starts returning all kinds of Duplicate account possibilities. The ones in the 30 - 50% range are not even close to what a user would consider to be a duplicate account.
I'm struggling with how a company could implement both features. Our users will not fill in enough data on the address search (street, house, zip, search term ) where we could set the SA17 % high enough.
Anyone else see the same results? or implement both features? Seems like SAP should allow a value for each feature.
