we have a business requirement like this - some of the activity reasons being maintained have mandatory fields to be filled by the agent on their selection
our proposal is to maintain 4 custom tables
1.mapping table - reason & sub-reason along with the template id
2.text id's table
3.template id's
4.mapping table for the text id's & template id's
as the sub-reason is picked up on the activities screen basing upon the mandatory fields to be maintained with reference to the sub-reason maintained in the custom table the text id's should be filled up in the notes assignment block and the agent will be allowed to fill the required details as a free text for the text id's maintained.
please suggest us the right way to go.
