Maintain higher line item using order maintain

Hi All,

I have a requirement where i need to manually maintain parent and child items in quotation item level.

In case it is parent item, it should be maintained with line item number 100

if it is child item, it should be maintained with line item number 101 with higher line item as 100, the next one as 102 with higher line item as 100, and so on

Please suggest me how to acheive this functionality using CRM_ORDER_MAINTAIN if any one has implemented the same.
