How to read sales order status whether its in create or edit mode!!!

Hi All,

I am not able to read Mode of Sales order status whether its in Create mode or change mode. I am trying read from BuilHeader but mode every time is giving Create mode only even in Edit mode also.Please guide me how to read exactly mode.
