1) First of all the hyperlink in BP_ADDR is showing as hyperlink in my system but while clicking on it, it does not open any standard EMail activity in CRM doing nothing. Is there some other settings that need to be done to open the new EMail page?
Go to SPRO->CRM->Basic Functions->One-to-One E-mail->Assign Transaction Type , check here if the outgoing Email transaction type is maintained or not
if yes then go to Transaction Type customizing CRM->Transactions->Basic Settings->Define Tran.Type and see that the outbound Ttype should be active.
2) Secondly Is it feasible to open the Microsoft outlook page insteed of CRM EMail . Because we want to use outlook (if possible) insteed of CRM server , due to overload issues on server?
I have already provided that option in my earlier reply, assuming outlook is the default mail client.
