DOC_PERSONALIZE_BCS~PERSONALIZE_DOCUMENT not triggered

Hi,

I created action profile -> method external communication to display smartforms. I implemented BADI DOC_PERSONALIZE_BCS. The BADI was not triggered. I found out CL_BCS_PPF~GET_DEVICE return blank value through debug and therefore the BADI not triggered. Am I missing any steps? Any guru can help? Thanks
