Yeah I'm weird about finding BADI's as I just read code

After experiencing the pain of PCUI -> Webclient transition, I have always made it a point to not put business logic in the webclient when possible.
Weird that you don't mentione BRF+ as you inspired me, with your SAP Press book, to try to use it to avoid coding direclty the business logic in the UI 
, I really belive this approach should be mandatory, since BRF+ is part of the Netweaver.
BTW since I switched from pruely technical to techo-functional, I try to avoid coding in the Web UI as much as I can
