Search for empty/null values (e.g. "no Employee Responsible")

Hello all,

we have the requirement to be able to search for all Service Requests where Employee Responsible is empty. Is there any way to run such a search in standard using the Agent Inbox or Service Request Search? From my understanding CRM only searches fields where values have been entered.
