Just check what are changes recently done to the BSP component, Its seems like very strange issue. Just compare BSP component with enhancement and without enhancement.
Try dubugging crm_order_maintain while saving the document whether saving text. You can even check the BTTEXT runtime util class for data storing. i mean to say after buffer update check in API class level whether data is pass to save in table.
