Could you please explain what is your requriment.
If I am not wrong you are testing in SE38 using the report 'CRM_ORDER_READ'.If the partner is the part of object _id it will show in ET_PARTNER .
you can not update using 'CRM_ORDER_READ' for that you have to use 'CRM_ORDER_MAINTAIN'.
