Call transformation is used to convert abap data to xml data or vice versa. You will getting the view configuration in xml data and converting into abap table data. You can check the transformation ID in xslt_tool tcode.
Now come to requirement, you have added new field in query structure or just added in context node to make use of your custom field?
If you want to use the field in query you have to add the field in BOL query structure.
