if not i will give some inputs regarding this..
as you said that is a popup so place the cursor on which view you want to add a filed identify the component name and view name. go that component/view.
there are 3 ways to add a field.
1) AET
2) To identify the base entity name go to the structure append the structure and add the field over there.
if you want to add custom field approach is different..
3) for custome field go to context node right click add attribute
to add a fields under your view.
