I am also having the similar issue.
Email hyperlink is not triggering Email Activity (Issue 1)
I have gone through the solution which Shobhit has provided for the Issue 1.
1) First of all the hyperlink in BP_ADDR is showing as hyperlink in my system but while clicking on it, it does not open any standard EMail activity in CRM doing nothing. Is there some other settings that need to be done to open the new EMail page?
Go to SPRO->CRM->Basic Functions->One-to-One E-mail->Assign Transaction Type , check here if the outgoing Email transaction type is maintained or not
if yes then go to Transaction Type customizing CRM->Transactions->Basic Settings->Define Tran.Type and see that the outbound Ttype should be active.
I have checked in my system. both the above steps have been maintained correctly.
Can u tell me how you could resolve the issue.
