Configure Calendar and Appointments in UI

Hi CRM Folks,

I am utilizing the Calendar and Appointments in SAP CRM UI. I can create an appointment directly. However, I cannot create an appointment from the calendar (no transaction types to choose from). I cannot display an appointment after creation (clicking link from home page or calendar does not work). Please advise as to where my configuration may need to be updated.
