If this is for IC web interface, then i recommend to use Alert services where you can define you own rule (IDI) and based on condition alert will be displayed on the top context area which will be visible till the interaction is not over. Also the pop-up with minimize option can be a problem in terms of security where data might not be cleared after logoff.
