I suppose you use standard attachment component/view GS_CM/DocList in your Z component. Method FILL_BUTTONS of CL_GS_CM_DOCLIST_IMPL has the coding to set the button to enabled or disabled. Maybe you can set a breakpoint here and debug to check why the buttons are disabled.
