We want to send survey as an E-mail on INTERNET and capture the response of customers by any of the following options:
- (1) Embedding Survey URL in Mail form.
- (2) Inserting survey as body of the mail.
In our case it is not possible to do any custom setting at client side.
Till now we have created a survey. Created parameter .XML file of type mailto. Download the presentation format of survey with send option “mailto”. We sent the created .HTML file of survey as an attachment of mail-form to an internet mail address. On receiving end we are able to open the survey, choose answers but not able to submit it or get the results reflected in survey evaluation.
In second scenario we have generated a URL using send option and get option as BSP for survey and embedded the URL in mail form and sent the mail. But because the URL has CRM server path, we are only able to open and submit the survey on clients where system have CRM installed on it.
After that we are not able to proceed. There is great confusion for internet what type of send option and get options we need to use and if HTTP then what data we need to add in the file (Like connector id and access URL).
Any suggestion would be a great help.
