this will have many steps to achieve the task

1. you have to define the component usage for BP_HEAD_SEARCH in your own component.

2. you need to call one outbound plug in your GET V method of column attribute

3. you have to code in the outbound plug to raise the component as pop up and get the information back that you have selected from the pop up.
