as it is displaying tree view , there will be one proxy class associated with it where there will be GETTER methods for each attribute that we are displaying on the tree.
so there will one method to display the description as well. try to see what is the code in the getter method and if you are able to change the code, bypass the buffer there itself in the get related entities method rather than in above method.
