On click of an event in a view, change the field properties to readonly

Hi All,

We have requirement, that couple of fields are editable while creating a record. after saving the record, if user clicks on edit, those fields needs to be displayed as display mode. user should not change the values of those fields for the transaction.

I thought, we can create few configuration with these fields as display mode, but how to call that configuration on triggering the event.

Can we use Get_A method for this? kindly share how? Kindly refer above link.
