Opportunity saved though status reason is missing

In customizing we marked status reasons as “reason is necessary” (table CRMV_STAREASON- REASON_OPTION).

However it is possible to save the opportunity without a reason.

Error message CRM_OPPORT_H 023 “Enter a reason for the status” is displayed but changes are saved…

In table SMOFPARSFA parameter NO_SAVE_MAND_FIELDS is X.

If a reason is necessary the opportunity should not be saved.
